Gong Bath in Dubai

A gong bath uses a single instrument as the spine of the entire session: a 32-inch symphonic gong, played slowly, with sustained tones that travel through the body more than the ear. This is the deepest format we offer — recommended for clients who have had at least one previous sound bath and know how their body responds to low frequency.

Price
From AED 850 (private)
Duration
60 or 90 minutes
Instruments
32-inch symphonic gong (primary). Two grounding crystal bowls. One Tibetan bronze bowl for closing.

Why one instrument is enough

Crystal singing bowls work the brain through the ear; gongs work the body through the bones. The 32-inch symphonic gong produces a fundamental and a complex overtone series in the 30 Hz to 4 kHz range — that overtone density saturates the auditory cortex and bypasses the analytical mind faster than any combination of smaller instruments. After roughly twelve minutes, most clients stop tracking time.

When to choose a gong bath instead

When the goal is depth more than nuance. Clients dealing with chronic stored body tension, post-trauma somatic work supported by a therapist outside the room, or simply the wish for the deepest accessible version of the practice. We do not recommend a gong bath as your first ever sound healing session — start with the multi-instrument private sound bath, then graduate to the gong format if it calls.

What to expect afterwards

A gong bath produces a slower, more body-rooted aftermath than a multi-instrument session. Hydration is more important. Sleep that night is typically very deep. We schedule gong baths in late afternoon or evening so the integration overlaps with natural rest. Driving immediately after is not recommended — give yourself at least 30 minutes of integration in the studio.

Session details

Is a gong bath safe for first-timers?

Safe — yes. Optimal — usually no. The depth of a gong session is best appreciated by clients who have a baseline reading of how their body responds to sound. We typically recommend one multi-instrument sound bath before booking the gong-only format.
