How crystal bowls work on the brain
When two frequencies are within a few Hertz of each other, the brain produces a third "binaural beat" frequency at the difference. A crystal bowl tuned to 432 Hz played alongside one tuned to 440 Hz produces an 8 Hz beat — exactly the frequency of the Alpha brainwave state. By orchestrating the bowl sequence, we can guide the dominant brainwave from Beta down through Alpha and Theta to Delta over the course of a single session.
